…sleazy place that I'm staying, and I doubt that we would make it home alive if we did… Next day, started early, went to the pet food store to get some dog food for John, the Belgian man who lives on the streets and feeds the animals. I think that he has become something of a local institution round here, and he is absolutely amazing. He seems to be really genuinely… Trouble with the law...

  We’ll take the bus into town before rush hour, visit in the evening, have some Greek food, and return at cool night.   Then tomorrow we’ll head for the ferry to Venice , I think.   It is a 34 hour ferry ride that goes just Monday, Weds, Friday, and Saturdays, so tomorrow being Weds would be a good time to head… 5.26.09 Athens, Greece!

  There was a mall near the Olympic Stadium, so we walked over there and went inside, to see what food they had to offer and to kill a little time.  The mall itself was open, but all the stores were closed.  The place was still full of people though!  We debated eating there, where the locals would eat, but decided instead… Athens Day 3

They do have fabulous food which is presented so well and stylishly that it almost seems criminal to eat.
