flying out from manila to frankfurt in 2004, i used emirates airlines, which the main hub is in dubai, united arab emirates.
the economy seats in the aircraft are very narrow, the tv screens dont let you choose any movies or music, seats are almost falling apart, tattered carpeting, food was soso. but it is the only airlines i had seen with multi cultural, cosmopolitan flight attendants! btw this was in 2004, i dont know how the tv screens or the food is functioning at this moment! During the twelve hour layover in Dubai, Emirates Airlines booked my daughter and I, into the commercial wing (the recently upgraded wing of the Millennium hotel) where most of its overnight travellers are accommodated. Emirates airlines offers excellent service and ontime departures (ofcourse mine was not one of those ontime departures out of Entebbe as their systems went down and we had to have manual check-ins, which delayed our flight by a little over an hour).

Emirates Airline in so high class that it gives your very own menu. It gets better too… They even have these cameras outside their plane that allow you to see what's going on outside throughout the flight even through take-off and landing… Beautiful Friday's Top 10 for Dubai: |
