English, French.. Studying Spanish for my S. America trip next year

While hiking the Inca trail, I had stayed up later than the rest of my group to write in my journal. I vividly remember sitting part way up a mountain covered in vegetation. Looking up I saw peaks that seemed to be touching the star filled sky.Below was a cloud covered valley with the sound of an intense stream running through it. It's impossible to convey the beauty i experienced with my limited literary ability, but it was absolute bliss. Living that experience was eye opening to how beautiful this little planet is, and how little the majority of us see. Moments like that are why I travel!

Last summer i took a leap of blind faith! Four of my closest friends and i were travelling to London for a contiki bus tour around Europe. I being sick of my mundane life in Toronto, decided three weeks before we left, to stay in London. I quit my job, bought a one way ticket, packed a 70 ltr backpack, and hoped for the best.One year on, with a better job than id left, a renewed lust for life, help and support from friends (old and new), and an abundance of dumb luck, Im still here, and loving it!!
