This hostel has the best vibe, welcoming atmosphere, facilities eg nice hot shower,the beds are comf, the kitchen is of industry quality , brilliant breakfast (you get a huge breakfast in the morning) perfect location (with great views of the cathedral and a minute walk away from the cathedral when you step out of the door), funky decor, internationally recognised folk bar attached where you can try belgian beers and more.It has so much character and is so unique! The guy that runs it is so helpful and so nice and will help you in every way possible. Oh and its very cheap!

The house is in traditional style, old but cute.It is very cosy and funny atmosphere: it is in the best place you would find for visiting Antwerp. The staff is very kind and friendly, rooms so big and nice. Choose it!

The only "bad thing" is climbing the creepy stairs with your heavy luggage, but except from that its a great place. I will definitely come back here!!

'Den Heksenketel' is located smack in the middle of the historical town centre with the O.L.V. Cathedral and hundreds of restaurants, bars and cafés all around!

Walking distance from 'De Grote Markt', 'De Groenplaats' and the South district, definitely some places you should check out! The Metro system (underground) is nearby and very cheap and easy to use.
If I have to say choose hostel Den Heksenketel!

Bij aankomst werd meegedeeld dat er geen plek meer was, terwijl wij hadden gereserveerd. Er werd ons verzocht ergens anders plek te zoeken. Belachelijk! Door volhardend te zijn uiteindelijk toch een bed, hoewel dit erg slecht was en slechts voorzien van een schrale dunnen deken. Er hingen geen gordijnen voor de ramen en de douche was stuk en aan vervanging toe. Het ontbijt mag nauwelijks zo genoemd worden, oud brood en een pot chocopasta moesten ons met gevulde maag de deur uit sturen, bah! Hoewel de locatie echt perfect is is de gastvrijheid ver te zoeken. Voor de avonturier een goede plek, anders, zoek iets beters!
