All my friends have left me for University and I'm stuck in little old Nova Scotia with nothing to do but work and wait until February when my story begins. This blog will help me pass the time and bore the crap out of it's readers.

A group of ten of us went to Costa Rica to work with VIDA. It was a great experience and I would do it again in a heart beat. Santa Elena de Pital is a beautiful community with amazing people that I will never forget.

What a time, what a time. I will never forget the walk through Firenze on the first official night in Italy. It was beautiful and the duomo was so brillantly light up. I will never forget my third full day either. Venice and all the adventures that comes with it. This city on water has the best alley ways to discover something different, or just to loose yourself in. I must not forget Rome, Sorrento, or Capri. Overall this trip was amazing; To say the least.

This was my fourth time here, and first with just mother and I. Although at most times I wanted to kill her, I loved her for allowing me to roam the streets by myself and trust me. Bear in mind I was only 17 at the time. That's right I'm an young one! I do love New York City at winter time though. I say if you've never visited NYC during Christmas, you haven't experienced it fully.
