This is a suburb of Los Angeles hidden between the port and the Palos Verdes Peninsula. You typically don't end up there unless you miss you're turn on the Harbor Freeway and run off the end... But it's a pretty interesting place.

4 days in the desert for work, a rental truck with unlimited milage, and a big tank of gas..

I'm going to put "travels" within San Diego here to keep them together. Some of these are probably more like reviews, but.. you don't get many pictures with reviews. My friend J has a little condo and boat out at Lake Havasu. A few of us made the long, hot drive to Lake Havasu this weekend for our annual trip.

A couple times a year they run the old San Diego and Arizona Eastern railroad down a little stretch of restored track to Tecate, Mexico....
