Books (and shoes) are my packing downfall! I am currently lugging nine books, mainly travel guides. My favorite travel story of all time is Travels with Charley by John Steinbeck. Also love Graham Greene, Amy Tan, Dave Eggers, Anne Taylor, Paul Theroux, Jane Austin, Anthony Trollope, etc...
