Travel Plans
Indiadream destination
It looks so fascinating and exotic, but I think it's a place that's better visited with a local or at least with a guy.
South Americadream destination
I would love to do maybe 3 months there although I think I'm over the backpacking now.....
Countries I've Traveled To
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia And Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City
Languages Spoken
English, Mandarin (yes, Mandarin and not "Chinese" if you get my drift) - but unfortunately at a kindergarten level :/
Interests
I love design, art and quirky fashion. I'm fighting to live outside that generic "white picket fence" with 2.1 kids kind of life. My favourite movies include: Memento, Run Lola Run, The Usual Suspects and Eagle vs Shark. I love to cook and I also love to eat :D I love travel to meet new people. A random life goal of mine is to be able to figure skate well enough to do twirls in the air.
To me, there's nothing worse than spending your whole life in front of the tv and drinking your life to oblivion.
If I were to marry an inanimate object, it would be the la Pedrera
Books you might find in my backpack
Lolita by Nabokov (The book reads like poetry in motion)
Lightning by Dean Koontz
The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay
Music you might find me listening to while waiting for my plane
I love house, liquid funk (dnb) and breakbeat. On my Apple touch, you'd find an eclectic mish mash of music from the Hospital Records crew (High Contrast, London Elektricity, Cyantific, Danny Byrd), Groove Armada, Fdel, Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx, Crazy Penis, Diana Krall, Cassius, Dub Pistols, Meat Katie...... I'm pretty much an underground/non-mainstream kinda gal, so if you're the person who listens to top 40 or cannot define your music taste more than just liking "something with a beat", you probably won't like me......
I've hung on to old podcast videos of "The Chasers: War on Everything" and still
Most Memorable Travel Experience
Running around Federation Square, Melbourne Australia at 2am. (The reason for the running, I can't quite recall now.)
Sailing down the Nile in a traditional felucca with no bathroom or toilet for three days.

Profile
Some people travel to see the big sights, take a few photos, eat at restaurants with international flags hanging from the awning. I travel for cultural thrills and like nothing more than finding that obscure local haunt.
I'm very much a "tell it like it is" kind of person so take everything I say with a cheeky glint in the eye.
I dislike reality TV (as I think they're just full of attention seeking wannabes or Z-listed celebrities), but if I WERE to be in a reality TV show, it'd either be "Come Dine with Me" (yeah, I actually love that show!) or Project Runway (the American version back when it was fresh).
