Most Memorable Travel Experience
Asking for directions to the American Apparel Photo Show in Osaka at the American Apparel store in where I think was Amerikamura, only to find out after 20 minutes of talking (to the NICEST store workers by the way) that I'd have to take 3 different buses or something. It was then that I wandered to this HUGE Lichtenstein mural (Vicki, 1964) on the wall of some mall (pop art at its most grand and can you imagine seeing Lichtenstein's benday dots the size of dinner plates?) and eventually into Dotonbori, the older part of town that I came to Osaka to see in the first place. Wow, Japan.
