Jul 15, 2006Shopping, eh? The real question in Thailand is "Shopping for what?" Best buy ever: the Nancy Chandler map of Bangkok- it is loaded with amazingly accurate info. cheapest things: expensive things (these are out of my price range-so I don't know where to buy them): Any upper class hotel will tell you where to go for the expensive stuff. But, stick to the backpackers areas around Sukhumvit- the quality will be better. ***And, last but not least*** |

In each building are countless hostels, pubs, cheap eats, souvenir shops, tour operators and clubs, while the streets are lined with stalls selling everything from clothes to knock off cd's. All along its huge length tuk tuk drivers try to lure in gullible backpackers with promises of a city tour for ten baht… Back to Bangkok via Phnom Penh. Farewell S.E Asia!! By John... |
