Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA
Iron Barley is a neighborhood joint in St. Louis. After seeing it on tv a couple times, my dad mentioned he'd like to go there. Keeping this in mind, we surprised him by taking him there on his birthday (the surprise: be ready to leave by 3:30, and that's all we said. We thought he'd figure it out once we headed west. But we actually successfully pulled this off, just short of having to put du…

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Phoenix, Arizona, USA
Upon seeing Over Easy on the Food Network show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, I knew I had to go there when I visited Phoenix. My friend Nadalee and I went before she dropped me off at the airport. It was a delicious way to end my Phoenix trip. Even though I thought I wanted eggs of some sort (it's called Over Easy afterall), I couldn't pass up the caramel-banana brioche french toast (after deli…

Cheap "Hostels" in Lisbon, Portugal
Simply FANTASTIC! One of the best hostels I've ever visited. + : location, cleaness, staff very friendly, included breakfast very rich and tasty, artistic rooms and environment. - : no lift, no drawers in room where to put in my clothes (I was in a twin)

Expensive "Hotels & Accommodations" in Mandawa, India
A popular stop over point for tourists on their way to Bikaner and Jaisalmer, Mandawa and the Shekhawati Region of Rajasthan are home to several fascinating well-preserved painted havelis, forts and temples. The elegantly restored fort-palace Castle Mandawa sits smack in the middle of this small, dusty village roughly halfway between Delhi and Bikaner, India. On approach, you’re a bit shocked…

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Almen, Netherlands
I have been here several times and the quality of the food is good. Nothing fancy, but just good food. If you want to plan a big dinner buffet which is also affordable, this is a good choice. The room in the front is old fashioned, but clean. But the room where you can have your party it is newly decorated and furnished. There is also the possibility to play games during your stay there. Like a sk…

Expensive "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Almen, Netherlands
It may look very very expensive, but it is not.(but also not cheap) If you really want good and honest food this is the place to be. In the winter they offer really nice events for example christmas or 31 december. They really have nice things to offer. But for foreigners also strange things. Like humkes soup. This is special for the "Achterhoek". A very thick and good filled soup with French be…

Expensive "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
MiLa is the collaboration of a husband and wife team that hails from Mississippi and Louisiana. They serve sophisticated modern fare with hints of traditional southern cuisine. This slick restaurant is located in the posh Renaissance Pere Marquette just south of Canal Street on the corner of Bourbon and Common. While it is a quiet locale away from the hustle of the French Quarter portion of Bou…

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
I have been here twice about 7 years apart. I didn't want to go the second time only because I had been before and I like explore more options, but my big group was walking around in the rain and couldn't make up their mind, so they finally opted on eating here. I remembered my experience the first time to be better than the second, but maybe that is just from maturing tastes. Everything I had …

Ridiculously Expensive "Nightlife & Entertainment" in Chicago, Illinois, USA
One of the highlights to a trip to an aquarium is going to see the dolphin show. Basically you watch a few people in wet suits with a huge bucket of smelt, and watch them feed dolphins and then they go an do a fun trick, like jump through a hope, or some other fantastic act, instead I get the immense pleasure of seeing "fantasea" which is a jazzed up version of your basic dolphin show. The …
