Expensive "Sights & Attractions" in San Juan, Puerto Rico
There are plenty of places to dive in PR, unfortunately it seemed that there wasn't a decent place in San Juan.
After calling several companies we only found Caribe Aquiatic Adventures to be the only one who had an offshore diving. First of all they were WAY to expensive. We got charged $95 for a one tank offshore dive. In costa rica, on a boat it was $85 for a three tank dive. In the US, you c…

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Old San Juan, USA
In downtown Old San Juan, one could find all sorts of food but for some reason we had issues finding a traditional PR cuisine restaurant. We walked by this place a couple of times but never caught our eye until the chef stepped out of the kitchen with her bid chef hat on.
The Chef turned out to be the owner, Ita, who makes delicious authentic PR food. I tried the shrimp mofongo (smashed plantai…

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Arnhem, Netherlands
Restaurant Rhine-mosaic is a beautiful and nicely decorated restaurant, located on the beautiful Rhine quay. The menu offers delicious dishes, too bad the food was quite cold, both meat and fish dish! The taste was good and the presentation was great. We immediately passed that we were not happy and there were excuses made. We got a discount and they offered us a drink of the house, a nice gesture…

Average priced "Hotels & Accommodations" in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Functional - a minute from the beach and pretty cheap. What more could you want? It's in a good location - don't wander behind the hotel at night as it does look a little unsavoury but there is a supermarket right outside, all the banks and cash machines you could want and an endless places to eat!

Average priced "Sights & Attractions" in Los Angeles, California, USA
Los Angeles' Farmers Market, with the iconic Clock Tower as a landmark, has been and continues to be a meeting place for locals as well as an attraction for tourists.
Historically a place where farmers would sell fruits and vegetables from the back of their trucks, the Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax is still a fine place to find fresh meats, seafood, and produce, artisanal breads, decade…

Cheap "Hotels & Accommodations" in Vancouver, Canada
My stay at this hotel met most of my expectations and exceeded the expectations it didn't meet. The rooms were quite spacious and clean. The room included a king side bed, desk, and couch, as well as the usual room furnishings. I had no qualms about walking around the room barefoot. The first morning of my stay as I was walking past the front desk towards the door, I was pleasantly surprised …
