For non-divers, it is a must to go om Island Hopping and do snorkeling and kayaking.

This one must be one of the most complete museums of the country. Why? well, it shows every stage of the Peruvian History; since the first man arrived to the region until nowadays.
It's located in Pueblo Libre, an old and traditional district of Lima. The location is an old colonial house, just at the Main Square of the district. This museum is the one I used to visit as a student. Still today ... (read more about Museo de Arqueologia, Antropologia e Historia del Peru)

I stayed here as my reservation with the hostel I had intended to stay at got sort of screwed up. I showed up at 2 or 3 in the morning, initially intending to just stay for that first night (morning). After I checked out and all of the hostels were either booked or fairly expensive, I went back and got my same room for the rest of my time in Dusseldorf. Three nights total.
The hotel is fine,... (read more about Rheingold Hotel Dusseldorf)

Average priced "Sights & Attractions" in Lima, Peru
Located in a vice-royal mansion of a 18th century built over a 7th century pyramid surrounded by beautiful gardens.
This museum is more expensive than the other ones, because it shows a private but huge collection.
It's more focused on the Pre-Columbian history. Specially the Pre-Inca Civilizations' ceramic. They have a huge collection of "huacos" which are a sort of vases. This collection ... (read more about Museo Larco)

On our way to our good friend on the other side of the mountains we stopped at this little tourist attraction. I had always wanted to go to see a cave and I finally got my wish.
We paid for our tickets, which were very decent. They were about $10 a person. You get a guided tour.
The start by telling you the story of the caves. Who used them and for what. Confederate soldiers and Native America... (read more about Smoke Hole Caverns )

This hotel is in a very good location. It is by alot of resturants, such as: Joes Crab Shack, Dennys, Sonics, The Waffle House, and plus it is right next to the Arizona Mills Mall. Inside there they have Johnny Rockets. I really liked that it had a kitchen in it, because when ever we travel we tend to eat out alot, so it was nice to have a home cooked meal. It does have a pool but I have never bee... (read more about Studio 6 Hotel Tempe)

My first stop was the Japanese pavilion, for there was a collection of netsukes {http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netsuke}, but I went into the bigger part of the exhibit first, and let me tell you something, as someone who doesn’t give a fig or any other fruit about interior decorating: this place is so amazingly beautiful I hardly looked at the exhibits! {http://www.lacma.org/japaneseart/japan.htm... I used to get excited about flying until they turned US domestic air travel into the equivalent of taking a Greyhound bus with wings. These days most major US airlines herd you into overcrowded overused planes staffed by tired and cranky flight attendants who find it a challenge to smile and welcome you aboard let alone accommodate you with a beverage or snack. Let's not even mention such luxuries... (read more about Fly in Style)
