Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Kansas City, Missouri, USA
We had dinner here on the first night of the Kansas City meet up. This location was in Country Club Plaza.
I was highly impressed with this restaurant.
It was tough to choose from all the great items on the menu but I ended up having the burnt ends plate, which consisted of seared chunks of beef and pork. It was perfect!
It came with cole slaw and fries and I had some Newcastle beers to dri…

Average priced "Hotels & Accommodations" in Kansas City, Missouri, USA
I booked this hotel on Priceline.com with a name your own price bid.
I was able to get it for $52 for the night.
A normal price would be about $150 per night.
It was a nice place to stay and was close to such places as the Sprint Center and the Power and Light District.
For a city center hotel, it was easy to get in and out of by car and had parking across the street(30 second walk to hotel)…

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Kansas City, Missouri, USA
We discovered this place because we were hungry and in need of a snack before our meet up that evening. This was the first place we saw.
It is located in downtown Kansas City and has been open 5 years.
Jerome had a salmon club sandwich that looked really good.
I had a reuben sandwich. It was not the best reuben that I have had but not bad either.
I would definitely try something differe…

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
Wonderful food, great staff. The staff is all Thai & so you are greeted & cared for in the Thai manner. Totally friendly, smiles, helpful. The place sold a few years ago to some Americans but they have been smart enough to stay out of it. They expanded & kept the staff in place. So, we don't branch out much when we order here. If it isn't broke, don't fix it... Right. We share an order of fried s…

Cheap "Hotels & Accommodations" in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina My trip to Bosnia was very excited. This was first time that I was with my husband in Eastern Europe, so we did not know what to expect.
First we were in Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia, and guide told us that we should visit Mostar, so we looked on internet for some hotels and accommodations. And there we saw Villa Anri Mostar, beautiful new villa in center of the town. When we arrived, were we…

Average priced "Hotels & Accommodations" in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany The hotel looks very fresh and neat, rooms are well-equipped, wifi's free.
Shuttle to the airport costs only 4 Euro per person. The hotel staff is very attentive and willing to help - they even serve coffee and cookies to those early birds that have to take earliest flights and can't wait for the official breakfast time.
The only thing one should bear in mind that, despite the availability of a…

Average priced "Hotels & Accommodations" in Urgup, Turkey
As I have written in my travel blog, the city of Urgup is known from it's hotels within caves. But Vera Tassaray Hotel isn't one of them. It's located about 10 minutes walk from the city center, in front of the local market place, busy on Saturdays. Technically, it's a four stars hotel, but I had an impression that this rate is bit to high. I would say it's a decent 3 stars hotel, because it lacks…
