Average priced "Hotels & Accommodations" in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany The hotel looks very fresh and neat, rooms are well-equipped, wifi's free.
Shuttle to the airport costs only 4 Euro per person. The hotel staff is very attentive and willing to help - they even serve coffee and cookies to those early birds that have to take earliest flights and can't wait for the official breakfast time.
The only thing one should bear in mind that, despite the availability of a…

Average priced "Hotels & Accommodations" in Urgup, Turkey
As I have written in my travel blog, the city of Urgup is known from it's hotels within caves. But Vera Tassaray Hotel isn't one of them. It's located about 10 minutes walk from the city center, in front of the local market place, busy on Saturdays. Technically, it's a four stars hotel, but I had an impression that this rate is bit to high. I would say it's a decent 3 stars hotel, because it lacks…

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Pasadena, California, USA
La Luna Negra is a small tapas bar locate one block south of the famed Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena. The restaurant exudes energy by the red hued walls and the funky light fixtures dangling from above the dining area and the stage. You read correctly there is a stage because of the nightly Flamenco performance.
This night we (Jenn, Nhi, Joy, Rob, Matt, and I) got to sit at a table right next to t…

Average priced "Hotels & Accommodations" in Pitlochry, Scotland, UK A short break here was wonderful. Lovely fresh clean and modern rooms (unlike a lot of other stale places we have stayed). Very friendly hosts who plied us with tea and cake each afternoon. The breakfasts were particularly good - good quality food and also a changing menu each day, so some nice surprises.
Pitlochry is a great location. We went to the theatre (excellent), walked in dramatic coun…

Very cheap "Hotels & Accommodations" in Seattle, Washington, USA Econo Lodge Sea-Tac North near the airport in Seattle is the worst motel I've ever stayed at. First the clerk said my room number outloud when I checked in. Loud enough for the others in the lobby to hear. The couple in the room next to me and was having a heated domestic dispute. Yelling, swearing, banging noises and slamming doors. I called the front desk and asked for a different room. He…
