We just happened to call in here for a late lunch. Some of the items on the menu were a bit expensive for lunch but that is not uncommon. We opted for the soup of the day which was pumkin with smoked hock, served with a crusty roll. Not too bad a price and it was delicious. They had an open fireplace so it is very cosy on a cold day. The building was originally part of the old Woollen mills. Along... (read more about Lobethal bierhaus)

I am one of the biggest fans of cafes, coffeeshops and things like that. And I have to say this is one of the best places I have seen here in Estonia. I heard about this creperie several years ago, in 2006 it was named best cafe by Silverspoon awards (thing that names best food places every year here in Estonia) and finally I got there on my trip to Southern part of Estonia last week.
So it is a... (read more about Crepp)

C&O Trattoria, located in Marina Del Rey only a few blocks from the ocean on a busy street, is a busy, popular Italian restaurant. The menu is pretty massive and the dishes, while very tasty, seem catered towards the American appetite. By this, I mean the servings are massive and the pastas are dripping with sauces and meat. An "individual" size is probably enough to feed two people, and a "gargan... (read more about C&O Trattoria)

If you are heading north and passing by the long roads of Tarlac, it's impossible not to notice an eatery that has ultimately unique structures and perfectly palatable food... The name is Isdaan Restaurant.
The first thing that will surely steal your attention are the Mayan/Aztec-themed, and some giant fish sculptures outside the restaurant. These designs are so amazing that you would even agre... (read more about Isdaan Restaurant)

Getting together with my friends of Travbuddy is like icing on the cake! Jennifer and Tracy decided to get together one night and I believe it was Tracy who suggested this place. So, as I'm trying to find this place, I got lost...she said it was next to the 99cent Store - has no sign, just a small valet parking lot, but plenty of street parking...ok...whatever - I'm still doing Valet with my "Brui... Several of my co-workers mentioned one of the attorneys we regularly work with is a winemaker...Huh? What? Where? Of course I have to check out his wines myself! Apparently one of his Pinot Noirs was just rated one of the best 30 in the world by Food and Wine Magazine!
The winery has limited tasting room hours on the weekends up in Healdsburg which is somewhere I've been wanting to check out.... (read more about Holdredge Winery)
