Average priced "Hotels & Accommodations" in Taipei, Taiwan
The Ambience Hotel Taipei is a really nice Boutique Hotel. I had the chance to stay there for two nights and felt very comfortable there. It has really beautiful stylish interiour, the rooms are spacious and clean and feature big flat screen TV, stereo system, free in-room WiFi and most important comfortable beds. The bathroom was very cool, too... but I missed a hook or a bracket or something…

Clean bathroom & toilet, A…

Average priced "Sights & Attractions" in Costa Rica
While in Manuel Antonio my friend and I used this company to go on a zip line tour of the jungle. They were a very well run outfit in ever aspect. We had no prior knowledge of them, it just so happened some folks from our hostel were doing the tour in the morning, so we decided to join them. They had enough room for us to join at a moments notice, so we were on the van and rolling pretty early- 7-…

Cheap "Hostels" in Tel Aviv, Israel
My first visit in Israel was last summer. I came to Tel aviv and slept in the Sky hostel. It was simple, clean , friendly and cheap and I was left with enough money to go out drinking and party with all the people I met in the hostel. I met great friends in the hostel , some of them are the workers from the reception. If you want to enjoy a family atmosphere in this busy city , in my opinion t…

The bed was so hard :) with sheet are so so...TV with HBO (this one is nice) even sometimes fuzzy, open air bathroom (which is a bit uncom…

Cheap "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in New York, New York, USA
The bakery came out in an episode of SATC and has some of the best cupcakes I've ever had! While not the cheapest cupcakes you could buy, they are on the cheaper end of upscale cupcakes that I've had. We bought a box of 6 for about $16.50, so not a bad deal in the end. The bakery was filled with locals buying a cupcake on their way home, so you know this place is the real thing! We…

This was a great hotel! I booked this hotel on Hotwire so I got a really great deal on 4 nights for a double-bed room! The location was really the best thing about the hotel. It is only about two blocks from the Columbus Circle metro stop, which gives easy access to most of the metro lines in Manhattan. It is also within walking distance (depending on your walking distance, that is- my Euro…

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in New York, New York, USA
This place was featured on an episode of Bobby Flay's throwdown (I think Flay won the match, but you know they've gotta be good to get his attention in the first place!)! Famous for their pancakes, we headed there late Saturday morning. The wait was about 1 and 1/2 hours. The restaurant is quite small so they depend on turnover rather than sheer volume of space. I believe the wait we had was…

Expensive "Hotels & Accommodations" in Lincoln City, Oregon, USA
My best friend of 25 years and I stayed at the Coho in Lincoln City for a girls only weekend and despite a insane storm with intense rain and 80 mph gusts, we had a wonderful time. Thank goodness we had a beautiful room that looked exactly like the photo on the web. The view was spectacular , the sunrise and sunset are something I will always remember. The staff was stellar and everything was more…
