Free! "Sights & Attractions" in Singapore
Visiting Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is valuable since it's one of the few places left to experience (somewhat) Singapore's unsoiled flora & fauna. The hiking trails are well-maintained, but be warned: no feeding the monkeys! Yes, there are monkeys (macaques), and there's hefty fines for feeding them, not to mention it's reportedly not healthy for the monkeys to indulge in either. One of my first... Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Lima, Peru
This cafeteria is one of the only 2 at the airport after doing customs and going through security. It's ok, nothing special or extraordinary. But it's almost the only one there, so it could be packed if there are many flights leaving at same time. It's expensive compared to the cafeterias located before customs & security. I would recommend you to go to one of the cafeterias outside if you are... (read more about Manacaru Restaurante )

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Saint Augustine, Florida, USA
If you are following our trip you know that we had our first experience with Cracker Barrel Stores just about a week ago, and it was a very good one, especially the staff. Well we had another chance to try it here in Saint Augustine, FL., and again we were not disappointed. This time we opted for the daily special of Turkey and dressing. The meal was excellent and staff although not quite as fr... (read more about Cracker Barrel Store)

Very cheap "Sights & Attractions" in Singapore
Mandai Orchid Garden has plenty of beauty to offer, especially for those who enjoy viewing, well, orchids! I've never seen so many different kinds of orchids in my life. There are other plants to be found as well, but the orchids definitely take the spotlight. Great place to practice some photography and relax, perhaps before heading over to the Night Safari or the Singapore Zoological Gardens. I ... (read more about Mandai Orchid Garden)

Average priced "Sights & Attractions" in Ottawa, Canada
A place I recommend you visit while in Ottawa ... if you like to visit museums. You'll see old trains and be able to climb them also, sitting in the 'driver seat' ... TOOT TOOT. Then the anticipation of walking through the slanted house ... try walking through a kitchen slanted, your mind wants to believe it's normal your legs don't anticipate the floors and you feel awkward ... weird feeling ..... Average priced "Hostels" in Petra, Jordan
This hotel is quite new and room is clean. The staffs are little gloomy but kind. But they can't do anything without manager's permission even the lift to Petra. We asked shuttle to Petra one day before but the staff only said that we should ask the manager directly despite the manager always out. After all we couldn't get shuttle and the staff pays money to taxi to send us to Petra. He said that ... (read more about Shara Mountains Hostel)

Cheap "Hotels & Accommodations" in Khon Kaen, Thailand
Well, for a small and probably not so tourist populated and not so advance state in Thailand you would not expect to find a hotel this good. I do live in S.E.A and I know for rural unpopular place you can expect a rather run down place to stay and this is certainly not the case. I was taken aback by the fact that it was very nicely decorated. I was here for a few days conference and I absolute... (read more about Charoen Thani Princess Hotel Khon Kaen)

Average priced "Restaurants, Cafes & Food" in Omaha, Nebraska, USA
La Casa is an Omaha favorite. Unless you are from here or know someone that is from here, you would never know where it was. You might even think La Casa = Mexican food. Not the case though. La Casa has been serving up customers in Omaha since the 1950s. My favorite time to go is lunch. They have a compacted menu and many lunch specials. You can combine pizza and pasta. The portions are al... (read more about La Casa Pizzaria)

Expensive "Sights & Attractions" in Wieliczka, Poland
The salt mines made little town Wieliczka famous, and are a very popular destination for a day trip from Krakow. It is though, just as easy to visit the mines by yourself. I've seen some tours that were only little more expensive than what you pay when you travel to Wieliczka yourself, but others were just way over prised. So you can just make out for yourself how much you are willing to pay more ... (read more about Wieliczka Salt Mine)

Free! "Sights & Attractions" in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK
I am a huge fan of the Botanics. I know you didn't come to Edinburgh for the gardens, but they are really well worth a trip. The botanics are in Inverleith, a short bus ride from teh twon centre. Admission is free, but you have to pay to go in teh greenhouses. Last time I went it was about £3.50 for students, and I think it's well worth it. The gardens are well laid out, and there are ar...
