So...nine months later and here I am, back in Costa Rica again for the third time! I did a bit of everything this year; revisted some places I went to on my first ever trip to Costa Rica in 2005, only this time, my geography was down and I actually knew where I was most of the time!  In 2007/8, I spent a month in Heredia, staying with my friend Esteban and his family.  We went to Guanacaste on our holidays for a week in September.  In October, I travelled to Punta Banco and ...

Awhile back I was able to travel with some family and check out San Diego. I was excited about the opportunity to travel outside of Az... i mean why not? The sun, beaches, attractive girls... in my head i was already there!Like good fashion we left through phoenix, heading toward tucson... we figured we would be heading through yuma. This might sound very shocking, but i honestly never knew how close mexico really was to Az (stupid i know!!). So the journey was on... a/c doing its best to coo...

So here I am again, its friday and I am at work just about finishing up my shift. Just another boring day with nothing to do. Due to it being summer here, and about an average of 110 degrees, no one wants to visit Az nonetheless stay at my hotel = ( . The good news though is that Harriet is coming tonight and I don't have to cook!! I've been in good contact with Robyn and Harriet. I emailed Keith, but forgot to give him my phone number - my only reason was that I was excited to meet...

Every year I go to Zandvoort for one or more days, it`s a lovely place with a lot to do and when the sun isn`t shining, I take the train to visit places around Zandvoort. Zandvoort is very lively, it attracts about 4 million visitors every year. They also call it: Amsterdam by the Sea. In the past Zandvoort was called Sandevoerde a combination of sand and voorde (meaning ford) There`s plenty of entertainment and there are almost 40 beach pavilions. Another unique Zandvoort attraction is ...

Chernobyl

Probably one of the weirdest excursion you can make, is the one to the exploded reactor in Chernobyl. It's only a 2 hour drive from Kiev before entering the exclusion zone. It's strange to see so many people are still working and living there. There's even a supermarket where we got ourselves a beer. The guide also had one to make his hangover a bit more bareable ;) We came very near to the reactor, only a few hundred meters away. We also visited the ghosttown of Pripyat, the Red Forest area...
