ABOUT THE QUEEN IN A SPIRITUAL WAY...........Libra! About Your Sign... Libra is the only inanimate sign of the zodiac, all the others representing either humans or animals. Many modern astrologers regard it as the most desirable of zodiacal types because it represents the zenith of the year, the high point of the seasons, when the harvest of all the hard work of the spring is reaped. There is a mellowness and sense of relaxation in the air as mankind enjoys the last of the summer sun and...

Potipot!

I went to Potipot last June (2006). For those commuting, you can also take the bus bound to Sta. Cruz, Zambales. This way, you alight directly at Dawal. Buses are available at Victory Liner in Espa?a and Caloocan. Last bus leaves at 11 pm. Our trip only took 5 hours so we were there around 4 am. If you're leaving on a Friday night, make sure to buy tickets early in the morning as there are a lot of passengers and seats are scarce (or there's none at all) if you buy in the evening. Ask the bus...

Positano Day 2: 5/17/08             Feeling much better today; I am ready to see this beautiful city now. After a meat, cheese and Nutella sandwich we headed down to the beach to see the rest of Positano. Now to get down to the beach from the hostel we had three options. Take a bus down, walk the many stairs, or just take a tumble down the first staircase and keep rolling until we felt water. We decided to just walk...

I  really couldn't decide what heading to put this great Market (grocery store), under.  I can't put it under Hotels or Restaurants, nor did I want to do a separate blog, or a review.  The review is not long enough and I could  put only 10 photos up....So I decided to put it under BC 150 years. This great Mom and Pop business in owned and operated by Christine and Darryl Hein.  They started this store two years ago with great family support.  The store is very lar...

Today we woke up about noon (it was a long night) and went and had lunch at a small cafe on a canal.  After that we saw the festivities of the Belin Marathon and Rachel and I enjoyed the sounds of Samba Syndrome playing along the race route.  We also went by Humboldt University where they are selling books outside.  It's a really neat thing...  years ago the students of the university raided the library and burned all of the books that went against the Nazi idiologys so no...

The bus ride between Auckland and Rotorua is one 4 hr postcard.  Beautiful fields, mountains, streams.  Sheep & cattle everywhere.  It's been a long time since I saw Transylvania, but I think New Zealand has now occupied my top spot for scenic countryside. I got to see the route twice as I've double-backed to reach the airport.  Its almost time to travel back to N.America... which feels strange, honestly.
