baxpax Kreuzberg Hostel Berlin

Baxpax is a good hostel in Mitte Berlin. Is less than half a mile from the train station where you catch the local, national, and international trains. It is also walking distance to all the sites and museums. The hostel is in a good neighborhood, very safe.

The hostel itself is clean. I stayed in the 50 people dorm beds. They provide comfortable mattresses and clean sheets. The bunker dorms are quiet and people do try to respect other people's sleeping habits. Prices include breakfast which consists of coffee, tea, orange juice, bread, ham, turkey, lettuce and tomatoes. They have lockers for 5 euros extra.

This is a good basic hostel. The staff is knowledgeable but because is gets so busy one only gets basic info. Baxpax gets book really quickly so I suggest getting your reservations ahead of time.

Traditional travellers hostel for young people.

Within 5 mins walk from Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall.

Excellent location for train S - Bahn and metros U - Bahn.

Excellent Indian restaurant on the corner of the road.

Good facilities including Internet, nightclub in the basement but for us it wasnt that type of holiday so couldnt comment.

Double room en-suite. Everything was spacious and modern.

Breakfast was average as there was no choice of a cooked breakfast, it was just juice, toast and cerels. Not included within the price of the room.

Overall it was great value for money within a good location.

The Downtown Baxpax Hostel is located less than a five minute walk from Friedrichstrasse Station and is easy to find. The hostel is modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Rooms are affordable and good value for money. It is the best hostel I have ever stayed in.
