Every year, since we moved to the US that is, my mother and I go on a roadtrip to Yellowstone. We being the rugged camping type (naht) take a flight to Salt Lake City and then embark on a 6 hour drive to Jackson Hole, where we shack up. I'll post the pictures as soon as I transfer them from my other computer, but till then, use your imagination!

I had a speech and debate tournament up at Long Beach, that required my presence. Spent about 39 out of the 48 hours on the CSU campus, trying to figure it all out! But it was loads of fun either way.

So I believe it's like every year that the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church hold a Greek festival, endorsing their fab culture. I'm in love with the church's construction, so I thought it would be a neat idea to check out the place.

Took a detour from my trip to Singapore to see something different than what I see everyday in San Diego. What I saw was nothing short of incredible, spectacular, and whatever combination of words can describe the splendor of Cambodia.

So in San Diego, we have this relatively underground music club called Soma. It's a great venue to watch local artists and, at times, bigger names perform! I went with some friends last night to see Jupiter (very hairy bunch of guys), White Apple Tree (my friend's band!), Forever the Sickest Kids (awesome!), Metro Station (loved 'em), and Danger: Radio (ridic!). Check out the bands, they're all rather good!

Every Friday as soon as the races finish up at the Del Mar Racetracks, there's a free concert for all ages. Usually featuring the likes of the Violent Femmes, (saw them!), Pinback (saw them too!), Cake (going to see them!), Ziggy Marley, The Cult just to name a few. The concerts are pretty good, except for the plentitude of drunk men hitting on anything and drunk, loose women asking for it. But apart from that, it's a typical free concert. There's lots of alcohol, even more pot, and fun.
