Although I was young, I remember, way back in the early 60s when Brits abroad were very rare, my dad driving us to Barcelona. Easily done these days, but I bet not many folk have done it in a Reliant Robin van.......and he took it over the Pyrenees! Well, briefly, I'm 50 and coped with the transfer from the 40s quite well I thought. I'm off to my travel destinations with my daughter. It's her 21st and she's recently set up home with her partner, so it's one last journey together? Or maybe they'll both tag along on the next one! It could be the making or breaking of us. :). I work in education, assisting schools in their use of modern technologies. Sounds mightier than it really is.

This bar was recommended to me as something different from the majority. I'm not sure you'd bump into it unless you're curious about narrow alleyways... (read more about Staminee de Garre)
