This is a lovely backpackers set in the coromandel. The owners are fantastic people and always helpful. It has a swimming pool and hot tub which is always nice to relax in after a hard day of being a backpacker. The rooms are a good size and very clean. For only $20 night it is a bargain for the place.

Ok, I arrived in NZ on the 1st and it was now the 21st. Three weeks had gone by and due to various teething problems I had only managed to visited Auckland and the northern region. In my original plans I hoped to reach the south island b…… Ready to go, this time is for good. |

Today was a great day, so I decided to go and do a bit of driving to Coromandel. All the shows on tv all show Driving Creek Railway, that Barry (a Kiwi) has worked on for the past 20yrs (if I recall correctly). On the road into Coromandel (unsealed)…… My own drive |
