Sorry I've been so MIA for the last 7 months!! Grad school takes up a lot more time than it should, lol. But I'm hopefully back to be a regular contributor to TravBuddy from now on. :)
Living in London and just working on finishing up my MA in International Relations. I'm originally from the States, but I've never felt as at home as I do in Europe (Ireland the UK specifically). I've been over here more or less since 2003, and don't really plan on leaving again unless the government kicks me out. Love to take short breaks, mostly, but occassionally I get the longer adventure under my belt. Love to take pictures more than anything though. Some more travels throughout the UK planned for the coming months, though hopefully something more exciting later this summer (we'll keep it a secret until then though!)

My best friend and I had a few days to kill, so we jaunted off to some rather obscure places in Scotland. Glasgow (Okay, not *so* obscure), the small seaside town of Oban, and the Isle of Iona. We were virtually the only tourists in most of the places we hit, which was nice for a change. Definitely spoiled me for all future trips though. :]

Cheap "Hotels & Accommodations" in Iona, Scotland, UK
