airport CDG paris flight lost luggage

Hey Guys, I live in Tunis and thus, often have to go to or through Paris Charles De Gaules CDG international Airport. The Airport is notorious for delaying, damaging or loosing your luggage. There is also a simple explanation: Terminal 1 is all international airlines; terminal 2 is Air France only and 3 is charter. so lets assume you happen to arrive at terminal 2 Gate E33 and transfer to gate E 21. Your chances are high that things work out OK, because you are staying in the same "E" complex. if you arrive at terminal 2 E 32 and transfer to D 12, well ... hope there wasn't anything you really need in your bag. Because the E D C B and so on complexes are managed indvidually and do not really cooperate very well between each other. Now, if you are unlucky and have to transfer from a flight at terminal 1 to let's say terminal 2 ... don't even bother to check in luggage :-) chances are super high that you'll never see your bags when you arrive ... or never at all. therefor: when we go through Paris CDG, we mostly take hand luggage or pack accordingly. its just some evidence based experience, but as I work for the African Development Bank, lots of my colleagues share the same experience.
