Most Memorable Travel Experience
So many experiences, so little space...Looking out over the Khyber Pass seeing Afghanistan for the first time, or maybe riding a boat into Shanghai harbor at dawn, or maybe taking a sleeper train through Vietnam, might it be safari in southern Tanzania, or maybe climbing Pacaya volcano in Guatemala...
Profile
I'm a global nomad, living in Kabul, Afghanistan. I was born in the US to an American dad and Costa Rican mom, but moved overseas before I can remember. I was raised in Domincan Republic until I was 9, and then Mexico, which is where I consider home. I have become a global nomad, and have put in expat time in Puerto Rico, Ghana, Costa Rica, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan, where I live now. I love to travel and love exploring. I currently run The Great Game Travel Company (Afghanistan) which offers adventure tours in central and northern Afghanistan. You can check out the website at www.greatgametravel.com.

I don't quite understand why the rules of customer service are somehow suspended when it comes to airtravel. Here's a few thoughts on airlines and their failure to satisfy.
