Zwiąż Mnie!

Those who like dance-music should go to club underground. It is a small bar which could be found in the middle of the center, next to the mac donalds. The atmosphere in the club is very good and the night I was the they played trance and house music. The drinks are expensive, i payed 10 zloty for an half a litre Heineken. But the entrance is free, the wardrode costs 1 zloty. I was there on a wensday, on the other days the play other styles. Like hip-hop, disco and soul.

Praga Północ - Warsaw

Warsaw has a number of alternative clubs and bars with cool music, interesting decor, colorful crowds and cheap prices. A few of these places are located in the Warsaw area of Praga. If you’re looking for a different Warsaw experience, where local people go, with reasonably priced drinks and danceable music try “Zwiąż Mnie.” That’s “Tie me up” or “Átame” like the title of the Almodovar movie. The bar is located in an old, run-down apartment building in Praga Północ.

The whole grundgy location aspect of this is part of what makes it attractive. There are three different areas, the bar, a small lounge area with tables and a large room with a dance floor. The décor consists of dark red and green walls, exposed ventilation installations and posters on the walls. Entrance costs 5 PLN and drinks start from that price as well. It will cost you another 2 PLN to check your coat or whatever... Zwiąż Mnie starts to fill up at around 11 and by midnight the place was full of a nice crowd of people. There are numerous other places in the vicinity and public transportation is not far. The Zwiąż Mnie bar / pub welcomes everyone.
