Zuwaddeh Reviews
The best Arabian cuisine in Jordan May 03, 2007
The Zuwaddeh Restaurant (and next-door Hakoura restaurant) constitutes as the best traditional Arab food in Jordan.
Situated in the small town of Fuheis, 15 kilometres northwest of Amman, the place is a popular destination for the people of Amman. The place is usually full any time of the day, and for the right reasons. This was literally the best food we have had in the whole country. The house speciality is Fatteh, a baked dish consisting of fried bread, hummus, meat or chicken and pine nuts, which can be ordered small, medium and huge. There are three dining areas: outdoor, indoor and on the covered roof terrace. There are is often live music and Alcohol is served. Bookings are recommended in the weekends. Most hotels in Amman can book a table as well as arrange for transportation. Part of the Middle East 2007 travel blog |
