Zum Harzer Jodlermeister Altenbrak Reviews
A yodeling Schnitzel? Aug 22, 2009
‘Zum Harzer Jodlermeister’ is a restaurant in the town of Altenbrak. ... No worries, although this place is named after the owner's favourite singing, which is yodeling, you don't need to order with the help of these funny sounds.
The location on top of a rock allows a pleasant view, so that sitting on the terrace and enjoying a good meal or cool refreshments in the sun is even more enticing.
Witches waiting in some corners are traditional decoration and spread the original Harz Mountains flair. They’ll just jinx you if you don’t eat up!
Whether hearty dishes, light snacks or nice desserts – the menu has available a bite for everyone.
Both home cooking like brawn with roast potatoes and even more exotic pieces like ostrich with jacked potatoes are on the list. Well, if your heart beats for fresh salads or a sweet wafer you don’t have to skip this place either. Just go for your favourite!
The service is kind, attentive and always endeavoured to bring the beverages quickly. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our main courses. Besides two or three of the same dishes didn’t appear at the same time, which wasn’t too pleasant especially since we were a large group and intended to have dinner together.
The dishes are presented promising and taste good even though the whole price-performance ratio (noticing all amenities) could be a bit more convincing.
To sum up the rating for this restaurant I would say this homey location offers fine meals (fair average) but if you’re around you should give it a try anyway!
