Zuidfoor Brussels Reviews
Funfair by the train station Jul 26, 2009
Zuidfoor / La Foire du Midi is a fun fair that is being held by the international train station in Brussels (Brussel Zuid / Bruxelles Midi).
The fun fair is taking up the ring road from Anderlecht to Hallepoort, running past the train station, giving over a kilometre of activities. There are the typical rides, side-shows and junk food that you would expect from any fun fair. We went on the Ferris Wheel, inside a maze made from plate glass (making it surprisingly difficult) and down a water toboggan ride. We also watched guinea pig bingo (numbers are called based on which entry the guinea pig runs into) and a merry-go-round with real ponies. It was quite an impressive fair considering they just threw it up for a month along a road.
The fair is running from the 18th July to the 23rd August, from 3pm to 12:30am every day.
