Zug Vacation Guide
Zug is a quaint small town on Lake Zug in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. It is a peaceful place to spend a day or two, both exploring the small town itself as well as hiking in the nearby woods.
The town dates from 1240 and entered the Swiss Confederation in the 1350s. It has some beautiful buildings from the 15th century, including it's town hall and the church of St. Oswald.
The walkway along the river shore is beautiful and provides some breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains including Pilatus and Rigi. Many multinational companies have offices in Zug or nearby Baar.
