By itself Zorge Park is very bland and the only thing that is worthwhile to view is the "Big Brother is Watching You" Orwellian nightmare of a statue in the park. In all honesty, those eyes really freaked me out.
The park is named after a Soviet spy during WWII. Zorge was born in Baku to Russian and German parents. He moved to Germany and served as a spy for the Soviets and even warned the USSR before the Germans were planning on attacking, although Stalin choose to ignore him. Later, he spied on the Japanese as well. He was later captured and killed by the Japanese. So to honor this man's sacrifice, we get a spooky sets of eyes. We made it to the embassy and then cut back through Zorge Park and into Djaparidize Park. Djaparidize is fairly non-descript.
