Too bad we discovered it on our last evening on Karfas, Chios.
Beside the food which is good the most friendly ppl on the world are the owners. Jorjos is the best guy and Claudia is very nice also. The tavern is designed as their home and when you enter in there you have the feeling you are indeed in thier house. The music is nice. Many thanks to Jan for his recommendation. We plan already our trip to Chios again and the first thing we want is to spend a evening with Jorjos and to have some drinks togheter. Come here ppl to this tavern.You'll feel like home home home. I felt like that!!!

Zorbas tavern is in the center of Karfas and about 100 m from the sea, Karfas is the tourist center of Chios, but not flooded with tourists. Zorbas Tavern is a open tavern with a friendly atmosphere. you can have here a good meal for a good price. The owners Jorgos and Claudia are the friendly owners and they want that there tavern feels like home. You can try the Zorbas filet, or the Stefado ( the best you ever eat )or the schrimps saganaki, its almost a must!! You can drink by Zorbas Tavern of course the Greeck Beer Mythos, but here you should ask for the Zorbas beer! When you visiting Zorbas Tavern, Give them the greetings from me! I'm sure you will have a great time. Have a good meal and enjoy it, cheers!
