Zoo Dresden Reviews
Fun day with animals in a convenient location Jun 04, 2010
Getting to the zoo is easy with public transportation since three trams and a bus have a stop either at the zoo or very close to it. Admission isn't expensive- an adult regular ticket is 8€ and according to the website that price is 6€ on Mondays (non-holiday).
This isn't a big zoo, and you won't find a wide array of animals. But it's still a pleasant zoo with plenty of options. My favorite were the penguins since they were the most active.
There are little cafes around. I had a bratwurst/bread and a drink for 4.50€. The souvenir shop is really small, and it has some books, stuffed animals and other trinkets.
If you like animals/zoos, this is definitely worth checking out.
