We spent an incredible two months travelling by train and bus through Eastern Europe, from Berin southward to Athens. We've seen some incredible sights and met some awesome people. Eastern Europe rocks my socks.

The holiday started with a boat trip from Vienna to Bratislava. In the following week, we travelled by train to Zilina, Kosice, Trencin and eventually back to Bratislava. Besides these cities, we also visited Devin Castle, the Mala Fatra Mountains, Spissky Castle, Trnava and Levoca. Overall, the weather was quite reasonable

I got to Žilina without any problems, but once there, at the bus station, I couldn't find any signs that pointed to the train station, or any information stand/booth.  I found my way to the central "square" of the town, and made the most educated guess that I could, and it was right, at the end of the street I saw a freight train, and eventually a passenger train.  I only had 30 minutes or so there, so I really got no chance to explore this town, but it looked inviting.
