Zest restaurant is located in the City Tattersalls Club in Sydney. I was wandering around trying to find a decent place to eat dinner when I stumbled on this gem of a restaurant. The place was deserted when I entered, so I was kind of worried, but after sitting down and taking a bite, those fears melted away like the salmon in my mouth.
Heaven on a plate is the only way I can describe the meal I had at Zest. Everything I touched had so much flavour and the side dishes complimented everything so well. I just wish I had room for dessert, as I could not get enough. I ordered the smoke salmon for a starter and a snapper fillet for the main course. Both items were so tasty and all I needed was a few drops of lemon juice to complete the masterpiece. The service was great as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and I hope to be in Sydney again so I can check out the rest of the menu.  Part of the December 2008 in Australia travel blog |
