Zero Zero San Francisco Reviews
California meets Neapolitan Feb 13, 2012
For all you visitors, Zero Zero is walkable from Union Square yet far enough away so it won't be filled with fellow tourists ;)
The restaurant itself has a nice vibe plus its a great place for both vegetarians and meat eaters. I loooove the food- Italian and Neapolitan pizza!
If you are alone or just two people, I recommend sitting at the bar. Cocktails are excellent and the full menu is served at the bar. It can get pretty busy so you may want to get reservations for a table on the weekend or if you're a large group.
Some of my favorites:
* Slow Cooked Pork Belly and Roman Style Dumpling
* Skillet Fried Chicken Thighs
* Tomato Braised Chickpea, Rosemary, and Burrata Bruschetta
* Little Shell Pasta, Butternut Squash
* Margherita Extra pizza
* Castro pizza
Great food, great drinks, great ambiance!
Oh one last thing, I found out the hard way that the kitchen closes M-F 2:30PM to 4PM.
