Zeny's Lemoore Reviews
home-cooked Filipino dishes :) Jul 29, 2014
If you like Filipino’s “lumpia” (aka eggrolls), Zeny’s is a good place to go. Besides, lumpia they also serve different Filipino dishes from chicken or pork adobo, pancit (sautéed rice noodles with veggies & meat), kare-kare, barbeque (the Filipino way) and other more dishes. They also offer desserts like halo-halo (ice shaved, sweetened fruits, topped with ice cream or leche flan), bibingka (rice cakes), fruit salad, ginataan (sweet rice, plantain, jack-fruit cooked in coconut milk), etc.
Zeny’s has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staffs are always smiling and are English speaking. The restaurant owner cooks the dishes herself so very hands-on with her restaurant business. She usually interacts with costumers as well.
“Turo-turo” is the dining style here or “point-point” in the English language! At the counter are dishes in containers, displayed in encased glass then point the dish you want and the server will prepare for you. Usually, you pay first before eating but at Zeny’s they will let you consume your food first before paying.
The restaurant is not big, but a pleasant place to dine when it is not busy, and always clean and orderly. The television is always set up to Filipino channel.
As far as their food pricing, it is relatively affordable. The combo meal is priced to US7.00, and with rice, pancit, and choices of two main dishes, excluding drinks and dessert. A small bowl of soup is offered with no charge.
We usually dine here on Sundays after church.
