Most Memorable Travel Experience
I'm not really sure I can make a definite decision here, there were many experiences that were special in very different ways.
A roundtrip through Romania in 1995 was very enlightening in terms of family history, and I feel I have to go again soon and find out more. It was also the most different from my normal life I have experienced so far. But I also loved going to New York, even though I was there only for a few days. It's an amazing city. And then I have practiced karate on beaches in Wales, where I nearly froze in the icy rain, and in Spain and Greece, where it was nearly to hot to train. All of these were great, so it's hard to pick a winner. Maybe my future travels will fix that. Profile
I love travelling, just like writing and taking photos. Just smile me if you like any of my blogs, pics, etc... :D
Well, I guess the only fair way to describe myself is as a European, rather than being closely tied to any one country (although I have a soft spot especially for Germany, the UK, Romania, and Italy - is that too many?). I was born in Germany and lived there until I went to study in the UK and decided to stay. But my parents were originally from Romania and then they studied in Italy, which became their second home. They've moved around quite a bit before finally settling in Germany, and I guess that maybe I got interested in seeing different places because of their model. Now I'm hoping I can get to see a little more than just Europe soon and to have a few adventures along the way. Apart from travelling I have quite a few other interests as well. I am a psychologist and a therapist and am always interested in how we behave, react and interact. And culture has always been at the centre of my interests in this area, mainly because of the experiences of changing cultures and emigrating. I also like martial arts and am practicing karate, but I'm also very interested in the more philosophical aspects of martial arts as well as the Eastern cultures in general. Other than that, I like photography and filming/video editing, mainly of course to document any trips I take. So far though I haven't been away on trips for any longer than a month at a time, so I'm hoping to change that sometime, hopefully in the not too distant future.

Frankfurt, Germany -› Frankfurt am Main, Germany -› ...
Most people who come to Frankfurt only have a few hours between flights, maybe a day or two. But few have the chance to actually really see any of it, and it is maybe not the highest priority anyway. But I loved living there and this guide is for anyone who might want some ideas about what to do during the stop-over. I'll keep adding to it for a while, so check back :)
