Not a rip off Jul 09, 2010
Zdrava Voda, means 'healthy water', and we stopped here when the bus pulled in for a break, and spent about 40 minutes here.

Always suspicious that these places will rip you off,and that the drivers are getting backhanders to toke you there, when you are a captive market, but this was very reasonably priced.

Service was quick, with plenty of staff on even that early in the morning. Our bus got there first, but it wasn't long before the bus to Dubrovnik that left Sarajevo at the same time caught up and pulled in here as well.

Drivers and some of the passengers ate full meals, but we didn't.Coffee was 1.5 KM (€0-75), a glass of coke was 2.5KM(€1-25),and they had a choice of sandwiches on crusty bread at 5KM(€2-50).

The restaurant itself was under a a wooden canopy and was quite nice. The thing that got your attention though was the series of water wheels that turned the spits roating the lamb.

Just outside the restaurant there are spectacular views over the valley and out to the hills. If you are bussing it from Sarajevo to Split or Dubrovnik, and the bus stops here, or are driving in Bosnia, make the effort to go in here.

On the road back from Sarajevo to Mostar, it was just up on the hill before coming into Jablanica.
