Zaza's
Zaza's Reviews

This was my favorite restaurant in Rio. A few blocks off of Copacobana beach this was the ideal setting for our first night in South America. A creatively ornate patio beckons you from the street with its warm atmosphere. Although the lights blew shortly after we sat down at the bar candles we soon sparked and the patrons went on with their drinks. It was at the bar we discovered The Picasso. That drink alone would have made my night. When seated outside we were soon served delicious meals, let's just say I wish I were eating that meal right now. In a trip upstairs to the bathroom I realized the upstairs was a footware optional pillowed room, an interesting change from the downstairs vibe. With a dessert and a nitecap we headed into the night. Zaza's definately had a unique energy that made the whole dining experience memorable.
