Zanzibar at Baga beach Travel Reviews

Dec 02, 2006
Zanzibar is one of the most famous beach shack restaurants on Baga beach in Goa. This place is especially nice in the evening or night. During the evening, they also set out tables in front of the restaurant right on the beach, so you can take off your shoes and feel the cool sand while you relax to candlelight and moonlight and have a leisurely meal.

The food, although not expensive by Goa standards, I found quite good. I had the Tandoori Pomfret fish, which was excellent although a bit expensive. The food overall and the ambiance was great too - music was playing but not heard much outside. They also serve nice cocktails and drinks.. there's a small bar in the restaurant, but you can ofcourse sit outside and order.

All in all definitely one of the most relaxing shacks for eating or drinking at Baga on the beach itself.

Location is towards the northern part of Baga beach.
