Zambales: Camping at the Beach Aug 17, 2010
Have you ever tried camping at the beach? It's cheap, it's fun, and it's great bonding time with friends.
The Zambales coastline, approx 173 km long, is known for its gray sandy beaches. It is about 3-4 hours drive from Manila, and now even more accessible with the finished SCTEx (Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway).
Zambales is one of the popular destinations, like Batangas, for a quick beach getaway without having to hop on a plane to get there. ;)
Frolic in the sand, catch a frisbee, take sunset pictures, build a bonfire, cook some barbecue, count falling stars, pitch a tent, take a dip in the moonlight, tell ghost stories and drink 'til you drop... some of the fun things you can do while camping at the beach. ;D
