Good Memories Apr 27, 2011
I used to go for breakfast at Zak's with my dad when I was little. It's decorated like an old diner, complete with little jukeboxes at the tables. I went in for brunch a few weeks ago and was happy to find that the blueberry pancakes I always used to get were still on the menu.

The food is pretty good, lots of typical diner dishes, and the price is very reasonable. I love the old school vibe of this place. If you're looking for somewhere fun and inexpensive to grab a bite downtown, this is a good choice.

OMGSH!!! Mar 24, 2011
This is a local hub for EVERYONE not just students. But what they have been famous for for the past 35 years are their milkshakes! For $5.99 you can combine as many of their flavours together as you like! It's like a meal in and of itself!

It'll cost you a little more than McDonald's but everyone in Ottawa will tell you how much it's worth it. Whether you go at 3am (the menu is shorter) or 3pm you'll be able to find a great 50's atmosphere paraphernalia and all!
Yes...they're THAT good!
