Great independent tour Aug 06, 2017
I like to know more about monuments and lots of local staff so that I can form a "complete" picture of places I visited.

This is a very interesting theme for an independent tour. It is not easy to complete the whole quest though. Some of "planets" are in city center or easily reachable from it but some of them are very far away. It seems as something that fostering tourism and it should be taking into consideration if you at least two days in town.

I found only a few planets already. I planning to found them all one day.

Journey through the Solar System without a rocket Mar 22, 2014
The Zagreb Solar System is a model of the Solar System in the city of Zagreb, Croatia. It consist of the sculpture Grounded Sun by Ivan Kožarić made in 1971, and models of the nine planets made by Davor Preis in 2004 (Pluto was still a planet back then) in the corresponding scale to the sun. The scale of the model is 1:680 000 000. It’s a fun journey if attempt to locate all of the planets as they are scattered around the city.

Sun (Bogovićeva Street)

Mercury (Margaretska Street 3)

Venus (Ban Josip Jelačić Square 3)

Earth (Varšavska Street 9)
