Zacarias Morelia Reviews
NIght Scene in Morelia Jul 04, 2009
Zacarias was the first bar I ever visited in Morelia, thanks to my city tour guide Alfredo, who works there. There is usually a wait to get inside at Zacarias, but it's shorter than a lot of the other bars/clubs in town, and if you know someone who works there (as easy task to accomplish once you get in the first time), they will come to the door and sweep you inside like you're a celebrity. While it has all the elements of traditional Mexican nightlife, like disco music and strobe lights, it also has some of the awesome features of Mexico that I love, like original stone walls and red carpets. Having a mojito here feels like having a mojito in Diego Rivera's house. Just with more sequins and hip gyrating.
