The Yunjincheng Folk Hotel (Yunjincheng Minsu Binguan) is on bustling Mingqing street in the historical city of Pingyao. The hotel is adapted from the former residences of the Shanxi merchants in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and those residences have a history of more than 300 years. The hotel consists of 18 Ming and Qing Dynasty courtyards holding 60 guestrooms. The hotel also offers more than a hundred types of Shanxi home-style dishes.
