Yumchaa Tea Space Restaurant London Reviews
Best place for tea in London Feb 24, 2015
I came across this place by accident when i had some time to kill before an interview around the corner and i'm so glad i found it.
This is a place true tea lovers need to visit. The place has a charming cosy feel to it that i find relaxing. When you walk in towards the counter you are presented with all the tea leaves they have to offer. They are there so you can smell them all which helps you decide which one to order. And if you get too stuck the staff are there to help you. They've never recommended a tea for me (based on my tea likes) that i didn't love. Egyptian Nights is definitely my favourite!
As well as the shop in Soho (which is the one i visit), they also have a few others shops as well as a few stalls in some popular London markets, such as Camden Town and Portobello Road markets.
One thing i really love about this place is that you can also buy packets of your favourite teas. The bags cost £8 which is a little pricy but the bags do last a long time. Especially if you are like me and have herbal tea every now and then as a treat. And you can even buy them online!
They also sell food and coffee here but i've only ever come in for a pot of tea so unfortunately i can't comment on these
