English Speaking Backpackers Beware! Apr 03, 2011
The plus sides: plenty of lockers, the bathrooms were fairly clean, the bunkbeds were made out of wood instead of metal and sturdy
The down sides: This place caters to traveling school groups of native german speakers. They really did not want to speak English to me upon arrival. In fact they didn't want to speak to me at all. They wanted my money and for me to get out of sight. It was the singularly most unpleasant service I had in two months of backpacking Europe.
Two canadians, a brit and 3 australians said the same thing. (Another plus side, they lumped all English speakers into a room together).
The school kids were rambunctious, loud and running amok at all hours. 3 teachers to about 100 kids is not fun. Not friendly to foreign backpackers.
This is one of the few places I would never stay again!
