Young Chow on Capitol Hill Jun 18, 2007
Young Chow is my favorite Chinese restaurant on Capitol Hill. You’ll find people from the Library of Congress’ Asian Division and Capitol Hill staffers having lunch here. The Young Chow waitstaff are fast, friendly, and attentive. They won’t let your water glass go empty! Young Chow features Hunan and Szechwan cuisine. The usual suspects are on the menu, but Young Chow also has a daily house special. My favorite is the Wonderful Flavored Chicken served on Mondays. This dish is sliced chicken served in a brown sauce with green pepper, carrots, and baby corn accompanied by steamed rice. The Hot and Sour Soup is recommended, too.
